Abstract

207,632. Blakey, J. W. Sept. 5, 1922. Block tyres.-A series of circular rubber blocks A are secured to the wheel rim by metal staples B passed through apertures A<1> in the blocks, the hooked ends of the staples being expanded into engagement with the rim flanges. Rubber spacing-blocks D are fitted between the blocks A, and a tee-bolt E is fitted in the usual valve-hole, to the rim. The tyre blocks may be arranged in multiple form side by side.
