Disc wheels.-A wheel rim is formed with an interrupted well base e by pressing-up the metal of the well radially at one or more positions d disposed symmetrically with respect to the position of the tyre-valve b. When, as shown, the rim forms part of a disc wheel, the flanged edge of the disc f may be formed with corresponding pressed-up portions g either before or after assembly within the rim.
