[Also in Groups XIII and XX] A pressure gauge or temperature-responsive instrument has a Bourdon tube 3 provided with a setting device comprising a crank pin 7 registering with a base plate 1 to which one end of the Bourdon tube is connected. The Bourdon tube is in communication with the pressure source through a capillary tube 15. Adjustment of the pin 7, which is mounted eccentrically on a disc 8 provided with a screwdriver slot 10, moves the " fixed " end of the Bourdon tube for zero-setting. A projection 16 on the free end of the tube moves between adjustable stops 4 to prevent too large a movement during pressure changes.
