686,851. Pressure gauges. HARCOURT, Ltd., D. March 20, 1951 [April 26, 1950; Jan. 4, 1951], Nos. 10250/50 and 315/51. Class 106 (ii) A Bourdon - tube type pressure gauge has means for preventing deflection of the tube beyond predetermined limits, the said means comprising an arm h secured to the index spindle f of the gauge mechanism, and a pair of stops j for determining the range of angular movement of the arm h, this arm h having a pair of oppositely extending parts one of which lies between the stops j and the other of which is attached by a link i to the free end o of the tube b. An additional stop n is adapted to minimize any continued flexure of the tube b after the arm h has been arrested by one of its associated stops,
