724,058. Pressure gauges. ETABLISSEMENTS E. JAEGER. Dec. 1, 1952 [Nov. 30, 1951], No. 30452/52. Class 106 (2). A piston-operated pressure gauge for deflecting a dead pointer 124 over a scale, is so designed that the gauge casing 101 and the tube 104 for the piston 105 are moulded or otherwise formed in one piece, the remote end of the tube 104 being closed by suitable means 46. The pointer 124 is mounted on a fixed stud 121 and is deflected by a bent member 107 connected to one end 45 of the piston 105, the other end of the bent member 107 being formed with a catch 107a for engaging the pointer. The pointer is held in its deflected position by suitable spring means. A push button 130 is provided for resetting the pointer to zero when desired. The gauge may be used for measuring the pressure in vehicle tyres.
