Abstract

884,984. Two-part couplings; lamp-holders. UNITED - CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. March 28, 1960 [April 15, 1959], No. 10933/60. Class 38 (1). A plug connector for a lamp-holder is formed from sheet metal and comprises a tapered tubular portion 38 with a longitudinal gap 40, inwardly bowed webs 46 between slots 44, a stop 48 and lugs 50 attaching a wire 52. The connector is inserted in a headed metal eyelet 28 forming a spring-urged contact in a lampholder and is held therein by an annular projection 34 in the eyelet engaging the slots 44. The lamp holder comprises two eyelets mounted in an insulating housing which may be clipped into a supporting panel 14. Specification 858,262 is referred to.
