875,002. Two-part couplings. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. Feb. 8, 1960 [Feb. 19, 1959], No. 5778/59. Class 38 (1). An electrical socket comprises a tube 1 formed from a metal blank and having a longitudinal slit with one or two circumferential slits 6 extending therefrom to allow for expansion and alignment when a prong is inserted in the socket and engages projections 7. The socket has a wiring tag 11 and an annular rib 5 and is mounted in an aperture in a support 8 by splaying out one end thereof.
