Abstract
805,422. Two-part couplings. BELLING & LEE Ltd. Feb. 8, 1957 [March 8, 1956], No. 7268/56. Addition to 649,739. Class 38 (1). The plug or socket connector according to the parent Specification is modified in that instead of providing a shoulder on the pin or socket member against which the sleeve 9 abuts, the flanged end of the sleeve abuts directly against a portion of the insulating support and the outer end of the sleeve is deformed into a groove 16 on the pin 10 or socket as in Specification 781,607 and so as to permit limited angular floating movement of the pin or socket member. In the case of the pin 10 the sleeve abuts the base of a recess 6 whilst in the case of the socket (Fig. 3, not shown), it abuts a boss on the support.
