Abstract

1,026,529. Two-part couplings. SUNBEAM CORPORATION. June 17, 1963 [Oct. 24, 1962], No. 24086/63. Heading H2E. A resilient plug body 12 having a pair of substantially parallel terminal pins 14 extending therefrom has a recess 18 (Fig. 5, not shown), between them enabling the pin separation to be varied by deforming the body. The pins and a flexible cable 16 may be moulded into the plug body, and the pins may be of brass strip bent double to form resilient portions 14a, which are also bowed outwardly (Fig. 8, not shown), to enable them to fit in various sizes of round or rectangular sockets.
