868,716. Cartons. ROSE CONTAINERS Ltd. Dec. 13, 1957 [Dec. 14, 1956], No. 38165/56. Class 18. A waxed carton with a heat-sealed " peakroof " upper closure has a line of weakeners 7 on the folded-over flap 6, approximately the length of the tucked-in portion from one end, so that an equivalent length of the flap 6 can be opened away from the remainder by breaking the wax seal to expose the tucked-in portion which itself is formed with a tab 9, folded over with the flap 6 in the closure, releasable to facilitate the opening-out of the tucked-in portion. The carton is folded up from a blank as in Fig. 1, a pull tab 8 being provided on the flap 6 to ease opening and distension of the spout. Specification 536,926 is referred to.
