Class 66 A conical carton 1 for beverages &c., made from waxed cardboard, paper, or pasteboard &c. is closed after filling, as by a waxed cardboard disc 5 held between coiled, waxed paper &c. rings 3 and 4 and an inturned lip 2, the carton, after inverting being opened by tearing off the tip 6, e.g. at a groove 7. A drinking-straw may be provided.
