Abstract

504,528. Cartons. SCHLEIPEN & ERKENS AKT.-GES., LEHMANN, M., and ERDMANN, F. July 22, 1938, No. 21824. [Classes 18, 66, and 94 (ii)] A carton to hold liquids, semi-liquids, or powders, is made from an one-piece blank, comprising a square base, trapeziform side walls 6 extending from the sides of the base and connected together by inwardly-foldable triangular portions 5, and closure parts 8 which are carried by the portions 5, 6 and can be folded in kitbag fashion. The walls 6 are also provided with strips 9 which lie alongside one another and are clamped together in the closed position, some or all of the triangular portions 5 carrying similar strips 9<1>. The carton may be lined with waterproof or parchment paper.
