[Also in Group XXVI] A sealing washer e.g. for roofing sheets comprises a body A with a central fastener receiving opening E and tapering flange E having part-spherical upper and lower surfaces C, D, respectively. The upper end of the body terminates in a frusto-conical surface G, and a projection J in the opening B seals the fastener thread groove. The washer is moulded from resilient material, e.g. polyethylene with a filler of carbon black.
