Abstract

850,385. Sealing containers. JOSHI, S. P. Jan. 30, 1957 [Feb. 17, 1956], No. 3319/57. Class 125(3). [Also in Group XXV] A container lid 26 is sealed to the container 25 by driving through registering holes a flexible stud having a tapering head 1, a base 2 and a narrower neck portion 3 which will pass through the holes. The head may be conical, pyramidal or spiral as in Fig. 6, and the base 2 may be circular or rectangular as may be the crosssection of the neck 3.
