1417456 Button assembly D M SALVATORI 12 Feb 1973 6728/73 Heading A3H A button assembly comprises a button holder 12 having a base with a continuous curved twined edge to grip garment materials and a centre stem 22 having a point 24 and a button 14 having a central bore 34 to accommodate stem 22, a flowable adhesive 56 covered by a puncturable sealing material 54 being provided in the bore 34 to be punctured by the stem 22 of the button holder 12 upon fastening the button assembly to the garment material. A decorative cap 38 may be adhesively secured or spring-biased into position.
