859,966. Collapsible boxes. NO-NAIL BOXES Ltd. June 10, 1959 [June 12, 1958], No. 18863/58. Class 18. A collapsible box has an end panel 4 interconnected with side panels 3, 5 and also with a bottom panel 1 and the side panel 3 interconnected with the other end panel 2 by metal hinges extending along substantially the whole lengths of the adjoining edges of the panels and the bottom panel 1 is provided, along the three edges not hinged, with a flanged strip 13 which forms a channel to accommodate the lower edges of the panels 2, 3, 5. A top panel 6 may be hinged to the panel 2. The hinges and flanged strips 13 are secured by driving teeth through the panels and clenching them over as at 14. The hinges joining the panel 4 with the panels 1, 3, 5, 6 have their ends mitred as at 12 to enable them to fit against one another.
