Class 146(1) A document cover 1, 1<SP>I</SP> or folder of synthetic material closed on one, two or three edges with a joint 2 or joints made by means of a fold forming a flap 4 and adhesive material, is characterized in that the corner or corners of an edge 3 to be secured to flap 4 at a joint is or are so shaped as by rounding or otherwise that the adhesive is spaced inwardly from the open edge or edges of the cover 1, 1<SP>1</SP> and the synthetic material remains free of adhesive at the fold adjacent the open edge or edges. So that the fold itself may also remain free of adhesive along the whole of its length, the adhesive material is applied to the sheet 1<SP>1</SP> and not to the flap 4.
