859,268. Folding and sliding closures. DAVIDSON, C. E. June 30, 1959, No. 22462/59. Class 20(3) A folding and sliding closure comprises a number of strips 10 of e.g. wood of equal width and length with hinges of flexible material 13h e.g. fabric adhered to the longitudinal edges of the strips whereby they unfold in alternate directions. The closures are made by clamping the requisite number of strips 10 face to face and smoothing their longitudinal edge surfaces. The flexible material is then glued to the two prepared surfaces and when set the material is slit lengthwise of the edges of the strips, between each strip but on alternately opposite sides of the assembly.
