856,682. Pipe joints. TRICO-FOLBERTH Ltd. March 12, 1958 [March 12, 1957], No. 8126/57. Class 99(1). A flexible tube of thermoplastic material is joined or secured to a nipple or another tube, by a rubber sleeve which elastically grips the tube without the presence of reinforcement for the tube. In Fig. 1 the rubber sleeve 6 grips the outer surface of tube 2 which as fitted over nipple 4 and in Fig. 2 the tube 8 and nipple 10 are secured in abutting relationship by a rubber sleeve 12. The nipples may be of metal or thermoplastic material.
