847,505. Resilient bushings. PNEUMATIQUES & CAOUTCHOUC MANUFACTURE KLEBER COLOMBES. Dec. 13, 1956, No. 38095/56. Class 108(3). A resilient joint comprises annular projections 4, 5 which create compression stresses in resilient material 3 on axial displacement of rigid sleeves 1, 2. The projections 4, 5 on one or both sleeves 1, 2 may comprise split collars. One or more of the projections may be welded to one of the sleeves. The inner sleeve 2 may be increased in diameter to compress the material 3. The same effect may be obtained by decreasing the diameter of the outer sleeve 1.
