816,823. Textile spinning apparatus. DEERING MILLIKEN RESEARCH CORPORATION. July 1, 1955 [July 19, 1954], No. 42044/58. Divided out of 816,821. Drawings to Specification. Class 120(2) The description is substantially the same as that of Specification 816,821 but the claims relate to twisting apparatus including means for rotating a yarn in a balloon and variable-rate yarn advancing means arranged to receive yarn from the balloon and to advance the yarn against the tension of the balloon, the yarn advancing means being responsive to balloon size so that the rate of yarn advance is increased with increasing balloon diameter and decreased with decreasing balloon diameter. Specifications 773,891 and 811,002 also are referred to.
