Abstract
709,609. Spindles. NETELENBOS, W. J., OTGER, M., and ROBBENHAAR, J. G. July 15, 1952 [July 17, 1951], No. 17799/52. Class 120(2) A spindle is provided with members protruding from the spindle surface near the upper end thereof and adapted to guide a thread, said members being such that they overlap each other in a longitudinal direction of the spindle. As shown in Fig. 2, protruding parts 1 and 2 overlap each other by a distance "S" and in Fig. 4 there is a plurality of protruding members on each of two crown portions on the spindle 5. In a more simple embodiment there are only two protuberances spaced at 180 degrees apart on the spindle.
