Abstract

812,283. Twisting yarns &c. T.M.M. (RESEARCH) Ltd. Oct. 10, 1956 [Oct. 21, 1955], No. 30202/55. Class 120(2) A yarn twisting machine has rotatable delivery spindles 12 with flyers 15 and axial bores through which yarns are led to ring twisting units 20, 23 at which two or more such yarns are twisted together. From delivery packages 13 yarns are brought together at a guide 17, then pass between rollers 16 rotatable at adjustable speeds. It is stated that drawing the yarns through the bores of spindles 12 assists in the prevention of snarling. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 788.242.
