1,201,167. Break spinning. VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO - ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT LEGKOGO I TEKSTILNAGA MASHINOSTROENIA. 8 Dec., 1967, No. 55881/67. Heading D1D. In a break-spinning arrangement at least two conduits 4 are provided through which slivers from a drafting arrangement can be drawn into a spinning chamber provided with a positive air exhaust device. By feeding more than one sliver to the chamber the feeding speed of the slivers can be lowered. Slivers having fibres of different properties, e.g. colour can be fed to blend the fibres.
