Sliver conductors.-Compressed air, supplied from a conduit r through a nozzle m, is used in ring spinning-machines to facilitate the passage of the roving through the twist tubes s and the rollers. The guide tube f may be combined with the nozzle as shown so that an air current is induced therethrough. The ports o may be closed by rotating the nozzle around the conduit.
