[Class 120 (ii)] Condensed sliver is drawn in preparing and spinning machines by means of a rotary tube 5 provided with holding and guiding means comprising pins 8 converging to a point near the nip of the drawing rollers. The pins also exercise a combing effect. Groups of pins may be provided con verging to different points so as to form more than one funnel like frames in succession. Adjustment relative to the nip may be effected by a screw 14.
