Class 120(iii) Instead of drawing and twisting fibres in a single spinning machine, the drawing and twisting are effected separately, so that a fine sliver which has already been drawn to the final count, but has no twist, is delivered to the spinning machine where it is twisted only. An additional drawing group of preparing and drawing machines, machine may be introduced into the usual or a final drawing mechanism may be fitted to the last preparing machine. The fibres may be crimped between the final drawing and the twisting.
