1,106,352. Spinning yarns. HAMEL PROJEKTIERUNGS - UND VERWALTUNGS A.G. 10 Jan., 1966 [19 May, 1965], No. 1051/ 66. Headings D1F and D1W. In the production of elastic composite yarn, a high-stretch yarn 1 (or two or more such yarns) having no pretwist imparted thereto and a yarn 8 (or two or more yarns) having little stretch property are delivered to, and intertwisted by, the traveller 11 of a ring spinning frame yarn(s) 1 supplied from a package 3 driven by rollers 2, 2', passes directly through a guide 9 and is stretched, and the yarns) 8 is pulled (by the rotating spindle 12 of the frame) from a supply package 7 and passes through weighted rollers 5, 6, leaving the latter at a point lying in a line forming a continuation of the spindle axis, the guide 9 lying on the same line.
