814,039. Fluid-actuated valves. SHAND & JURS CO. Jan. 22, 1957 [Feb. 27, 1956], No. 2330/57. Class 135. A relief valve for a source of pressure or vacuum at 10 comprises an annular vacuum relief valve 26 co-operating with an annular seat 22 and carried by a diaphragm 24 extending outwardly from the valve to a rigid annular valve body member 42, the opening 48 through member 42 being aligned with seat 22 and controlled by a pressure relief valve 49. The vacuum relief valve inlet deflector 67 and the pressure relief valve outlet deflector 59 both form with the body 10 a diverging nozzle, the top of deflector 59 carrying a removable cover 68.
