Class 120(2) A false - twisting spindle comprises a twist-tube 16, a flange 18 in the head 17 of which has apertures 19 housing wear-resistant bushes 21 and with which slots 20 communicate. Yarn 22 is fed upwards through the tube, radially outwards to and downwards through one aperture, around at least part of the circumference of the head and upwards again through a second aperture.
