Abstract

776,586. Sewing machines. INDUSTRIEWERKE KARLSRUHE AKT.-GES. June 16, 1955 [Sept. 29, 1954], No. 17393/55. Class 112. Regulating means for a looper thread 23 comprise a rotary cam 7 mounted on a shaft 9, and a plate 22 provided with guide means 24, 25 for carrying the thread across the cam, said plate being adjustable angularly, along and transversely with respect to the axis of rotation of the cam. An arm 28 projecting at right angles from plate 22 is formed with a slot 29 engageable adjustably by screws 30, 31 which enter an arm 21 projecting from a bush 19, the latter being journalled on a freely projecting end of a bearing bush 13 for shaft 9. Bush 19 is also slidable axially and is securable in adjusted position.
