772,191. Liquid boilers. BONE, H. T. Dec. 15, 1955 [Sept. 16, 1954], No. 26918/54. Class 64(1) In apparatus for heating liquids, e.g. oils, aryl silicates, and aryl borates used for heating chemical plant, a furnace chamber 11 with a flue outlet 23 near one end contains an elongated annular liquid chamber 13 surrounding a combustion chamber 20 having a burner 21 at the same end as the flue outlet. The annular chamber 13 has spaced longitudinally ribs 22 on the outer surface of its outer wall, and contains a spiral baffe 19. The wall of the furnace chamber 11 is lined with refractory iiisulating material 24 surrounded by insulating material 25. In a modification, two annular liquid chambers, each with an associated burner, are provided in the furnace chamber. Some dimensions are given in the Provisional Specification.
