[Class 75 (i)] [Also in Group XIII] An oil heating apparatus suitable for supplying hot oil to the burners of furnaces at starting comprises a shell 1 lined at the bottom with brick 4 to form a furnace chamber 5 and fitted above the furnace chamber with a perforated dome 8 which prevents the flames of a liquid fuel burner 6 from impinging directly on a coiled pipe 14 through which the oil is pumped.
