766,530. Fuel injection pumps. BOSCH GES.. R. July 1, 1955 [July 17, 1954], No. 19034/55. Class 102(1) A single cylinder injection pump 24 delivers through a valve 8 in a rotary distributer 4 to a chamber 18 which communicates successively with fuel delivery ports 6. The valve 8 comprises a piston member 9 which on the injection stroke enters the chamber 18 which is dimensioned to allow unthrottled flow therethrough when the valve is open, and at the end of the injection stroke movement of the piston section 9 out of the chamber 18 relieves the pressure in the port 6 and fuel line.
