In a rotary distributing type fuel injection pump in which a port on the rotary member distributes fuel to outlets in succession, an additional part distributes a small quantity of fuel to a succeeding outlet when the main part is open to an outlet such that the engine cylinder, the injection of which is connected to that succeeding outlet, receives the small quantity of fuel at the beginning of the compression stroke or during the second half or at the end of the suction stroke.
