[Class 102(i)] In a fuel-injection pump for a multicylinder internal combustion engine, a single pump plunger b is arranged to close the inlet ports f to commence delivery and to terminate delivery when an inclined edge to the recess p opens an inlet port; the amount of delivery is adjusted by rotating the piston by the rack w. The plunger is actuated by a multi-lobed cam r on shaft q, an extension of which forms a rotary distributer c. The pump plunger b delivers past valve h to an annular recess k in the distributer c that has an extending groove m that communicates consecutively with the outlets n leading to the engine cylinders.
