Abstract

755,426. Two-part couplings. FALK, STADELMANN & CO., Ltd. Jan. 21, 1955 [Jan. 21, 1954], No. 1777/54. Class 38 (1). The shutter 2 is biased to overlie the live contacts 3a, 3b of a socket by means of a spring 4, one end 4a of which is secured to the shutter while the other, coiled, end 4c is anchored between the socket body and the earth contact 5, a loop 4b projecting through a slot 5a into the earth contact so that insertion of the earth pin actuates the shutter.
