Abstract

A blade contact 3c having a U-shaped portion 3 for receiving a cap of a cartridge fuse is mounted in the channel-shaped body 1 of a fuse carrier by attaching to the base of the portion 3, a blade-spring 5 of greater width than the portion 3 and the recess in the body. On insertion of the contact into the recess, the spring is bowed and the ends bite into the walls of the recess to check withdrawal of the contact. The ends are cut-away centrally to form prongs.
