Abstract

722,084. Clip brackets. TAYLOR & OSBORNE, Ltd., OSBORNE, T. N., and TAYLOR, L. W. Dec. 14, 1953 [Nov. 29, 1952], No. 30298/52. Class 52 (5). A cable cleat comprises a base 1 provided at each end with lugs 6, 7 carrying a pin 8 or 9 on which side members 10, 11 are pivoted. The free end of each side member is formed with a lug for the reception of a clamping screw 14. The insides of the base and side members are lined with detachable adaptors 20, 18, 19. The adaptor 20 is rockingly mounted on the base by a screw passing through one flange of the adaptor. The adaptors 18 and 19 have pegs 23 which pass loosely through holes in the side members and are held in position by split pins 25. The three adaptors provide an embracing trefoil support for three cables.
