Abstract

722,083. Clip brackets. TAYLOR & OSBORNE, Ltd., OSBORNE, T. N., and TAYLOR, L. W. Dec. 14, 1953 [Nov. 29, 1952], No. 30297/52. Class 52 (5). A cable cleat comprises a pair of semicircular members 1, 2 connected by a hinge pin 12 the member 2 having a flat box 3 which receives a bolt 6 to locate the cleat in position. The other ends of the members 1, 2 are provided with lugs 13, 14 for use with a bolt 15 to clamp the members together. Each member 1, 2 is provided with a detachable lining 21 of non- metallic material, each lining having a projecting peg 23 to engage a corresponding hole in the member with a snap action. Lateral movement of the linings is prevented by lateral flanges on the linings.
