Abstract

1,096,000. Clip brackets. TAYLOR & OSBORNE Ltd. Oct. 4, 1965 [Nov. 10, 1964], No. 45700/64. Heading A4B. [Also in Division E2] A clamp for cables, conduits and the like comprises one or more shoes which extend beyond the clamp frame. The clamp frame comprises a base 10 provided at each end with a lug 12 carrying a pin 15 on which sides 13, 14 pivot. The free ends of the sides are connected by a bolt 16. The inside of the sides and base are lined with detachable shoes 17. One shoe 17 is rockably mounted on the base by a screw 20 passing through one flange of the shoe. The other two shoes 17 have pins 21 which pass loosely through holes provided with spring washers in bridge pieces in the sides 13, 14. Each shoe has flanges which extend beyond the sides of the clamp frame to support the cables. Webs 25 reinforce the flanges.
