877,649. Scaffolding. BURTON, J. Feb. 4, 1960 [Feb. 14, 1959], No. 5202/59. Class 20(2) Scaffolding comprises a clamp 14 adapted to be clamped to an upright 11 and carrying a stud 20 on which is secured the transversely slotted ends of braces 12 or guard rails by a nut 21 there being ledges 26 projecting on each side of the open end of each slot positively to prevent disengagement of the ends of the braces from the stud by engagement of these ledges with the nut 21 or a boss 22 on the clamp. Specification 507,411 is referred to.
