Abstract

[Also in Division B7] A brake-lever assembly (see Division B7) is connected to a handlebar 35 on a cycle by a screw 11 which retains a strap 15 on which the lever 20 is pivoted in a cavity in the lever support 10 (seen in transverse section in Fig. 3) as well as connecting the support to a clip 12 around the handlebar 35. Lugs 14 on the ends of the nut for the screw 11 hook into holes in the arms of the clip to hold them together.
