Abstract
1,169,346. Cycle cable brakes. YOSHIGAI KIKAI KINZOKU CO. Ltd. 1 Nov., 1966, No. 48856/66. Heading B7E. A cable brake lever 24 has an auxiliary lever 27 pivoted to it at 30 so that an element 31 formed as part of the lever 27 acts on the lever 24 to operate the brake when the lever 27 is pulled by a hand resting on the straight part 21 of the handlebar. In a modification, Fig. 11 (not shown), the lever 27 is directly connected by a pin to the lever 24.
