One end of the part A has a member 9 carrying a rivet 8 over the central portion of which is engaged a hook 7 mounted on the part B, and the other end of the part A and the corresponding end of the part B each carry brackets 10, 11 interconnected by a screw 13 by which the ring is contracted. The flanges of the ring are divergent and have beaded edges. The ring may be contracted by a toggle mechanism.
