Abstract
571,361. Clip brackets. ALLAM, P. S. (Tinnerman Products, Inc.). Nov. 3, 1943, No. 18192. [Class 52 (v)] A clip for wires, &c., consists of a loop 10 of resilient material with integral interlocking means at its ends whereby the clip can be closed about the wires, &c., which it is to support prior to the attachment of one or both ends to the supporting surface B. As shown in Fig. 1, one end of the loop forms a hook 13 to engage the other end and the securing screw E passes through both ends. In a modification the screw hole in the plain end is opened out to the end of the loop so that the clip can be opened without entirely removing the securing screw. In another modification, wherein one end only of the clip is secured to the supporting surface, one or more slots 46 are provided adjacent to that end to receive a hook 441 on the free end of the clip. To prevent damage to the wires, &c., a flanged rubber lining 30 may be provided for the clip.
