Abstract
772,272. Hooks. CLARK, HUNT & CO., Ltd. Feb. 22, 1955, No. 5213/55. Class 89 (2). A garment-hook comprising horns 3, 4, Fig. 4, has a yoke 2 for clamping the hook to a mounting framework 1, the yoke ending in dove-tail portions 5 tapering longitudinally of the body and separated by a gap 8. A clamp 6, having a dove-tail recess, is driven on to the portions 5 to clamp the body to the framework, and may have a number or other identification-mark thereon. In another arrangement, the hook has opposed pairs of horns 3, 4, Fig. 3, and the body 2 is split diametrically and has two sets of dove-tail portions 5 for clamps 6. The internal-surface of the body may be serrated or have a projection to bite into the framework. Any of the horns may be branched, or omitted.
