Abstract

826,580. Two-part couplings. WAGOKLEMMENWERK G.m.b.H. March 28, 1957 [April 12, 1956], No. 10174/57. Class 38 (1). In a connector of the type wherein leads are clamped to a fixed contact 2 by movable clamps 4 embracing the contact and spring- pressed towards it, the leads 6 are provided with flat-blade-ended terminals 8 which are gripped between the clamps and the contact 2. The blades 8 may be offset from the central axis of the terminal, whereby two terminals may be clamped back-to-back in the connector (Figs. 2-4, not shown), and they may be provided with teeth interlocking with apertures or teeth in or on the contact 2 or clamping members (Figs. 5-8, not shown). Specification 727,380 is referred to.
