Abstract

932,580. Binding-posts. OFFICINE MECCHANICHE RIUNITE O.M.R. S:p.A. May 3, 1961 [June 22, 1960], No. 15989/61. Class 38 (1). A terminal comprises a hoop 2 which is angularly adjustable about a metal pin 1 secured to electrical apparatus 11, the hoop being formed with crossed seats 3, 4, extending along the pin and transversely thereof, respectively, for clamping leads such as 23 when drawn against the pin by a screw 14. Screw 14 is retained in hoop 2 by a nut 16, while a head 13 on pin 1 prevents the hoop slipping off the pin. Seats 3, 4 are of semi-circular section or form a dihedral obtuse angle. Hoop 2 may have two overlapping ends each formed with a tapped hole, said holes being aligned for screw 14 to extend therethrough, a nut 16 then being omitted (Figs. 9, 10, not shown).
