865,645. Clamps. BELLING & LEE Ltd. Aug. 7, 1959, No. 27051/59. Class 44. A clamping device suitable for securing a cross-arm of an aerial to a mast comprises a U-shaped bolt 1 on which are reciprocably mounted two saddles 6 and 19, saddle 6 having two pairs of shaped recesses 11, 12 and 13, 14, one pair being larger than the other to accommodate cross-arms of different cross-sectional area, and saddle 19 having two surfaces 20 and 21 substantially at right angles, the latter including a recess 26 for the mast while the former is curved at 25 to hold the cross-arm in the recesses in the first saddle. Nuts 30, 31 and washers 28, 29 are used on the limbs of the bolt to provide locking means for the device. Specification 841,631 is referred to.
